Perform skilled personal care services for those recuperating from acute illness or with long term disabilities.
Aides are qualified to assist with Activities of Daily Living:
– Assist with Personal Care: bathing (bed, chair, tub and shower + Perineal Care
– Mouth Care: the cleaning of teeth or dentures
– Nail Care: Clean & file only
– Foot Care
– Assist with Toileting: bedpan, commode, or toilet use
– Incontinent Care
– Record Bowel Movement
– Take temperature, pulse, respirations, and record
– Measure intake/output
– Assist with household equipment geared to disabilities
– Use of Hoyer Lift
– Range of Motion Exercises
– Change non-sterile dressings
– Remind client to take prescribed medications
– Assist with meal preparation, specialized diets and nutritional support
Household Care-Homemakers
Assist in performing daily household tasks such as household care and meal preparations:
– Household Care
– Light Cleaning
– Dusting
– Vacuuming
– Mopping
– Sweeping
– Pick up client area
– Change Linen
– Dishwashing
– Grocery Shopping
– Meal Preparation / Nutritional Support
Each case is overseen by a Registered Nurse. Each case is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. One hour to twenty-four hour care available.

Personal Care Aide
Assist Client using safe techniques for personal care needs such as bathing, elimination needs, transferring, dressing/undressing and ambulation together with any household task (e.g., making bed, changing linens, laundry, light housekeeping, etc.) essential to the client’s health in accordance with the care plan. Good communication skills and ability to report to the Supervisors any clinical information.
Must be at least 18 yrs of age and have successfully completed the required training and competency through a New York State Department of Health and/or New York State Education Department approved Home Health Aide Training Program/Personal Care Aide Training Program.
